Paryžiuje (Prancūzija). Tarptautinė kūno kultūros ir sporto taryba skatina visų kūno kultūrą ir sportą propaguojančių nacionalinių ir tarptautinių organizacijų bendradarbiavimą, asmeninius kūno kultūros specialistų ryšius, padeda keistis literatūra ir kita informacija, plėtoti kūno kultūrą toms šalims, kurios tokios pagalbos prašo, taip pat organizuoja kūno kultūros, sporto mokslinius tyrimus. Oficialiosios kalbos – anglų, prancūzų.
